State Shipping
Restrictions

Rdy2Gro Soil Systems ships to the contiguous United States and is committed to full transparency about the state-specific regulations that govern how and whether our products can be delivered to your location.

Shipping Status Definitions

Each state in this guide carries one of four shipping statuses. These statuses apply specifically to our product categories — organic worm castings (soil amendments) and garden hardware (raised beds, planters, trellises, shade cloths). Understand your state's status before placing your order.

Standard Shipping Full catalog available. Products are fully compliant with state regulatory frameworks and clear for direct ground transport without structural exceptions.
Compliant — Commercial Rules Apply Organic worm castings satisfy active local registration, permitting, or guaranteed analysis disclosure labeling requirements. Direct residential and commercial shipment permitted.
Inquire Before Ordering Unique local biological review, environmental protection terms, or strict structural distribution rules require coordination before fulfillment.
Cannot Ship — Worm Castings State or federal agricultural regulations prohibit the importation of organic soil amendments to this destination. Garden hardware may still ship — contact us.

Hawaii & Alaska — Special Restrictions

These two states have unique federal and state agricultural import restrictions that affect our organic worm castings. Please read the notices below carefully before placing any order destined for Hawaii or Alaska.

Hawaii Policy: High structural restrictions are maintained by the Hawaii Department of Agriculture (HDOA) on the importation of organic soil matter, compost, vermicompost, and related soil amendments from the continental United States into Hawaii. These restrictions exist to protect Hawaii's delicate island ecosystems from the introduction of invasive soil organisms, plant pathogens, and non-native biological matter.

Under Hawaii Administrative Rules, Title 4, Chapter 68 (Plant Quarantine), worm castings and vermicompost are classified as regulated articles and require prior approval from HDOA before importation. In practice, commercial importation of vermicompost into Hawaii is rarely approved and is not currently authorized for our product line.

Worm Castings: We do not ship organic worm castings to Hawaii. Garden hardware (raised beds, planters, trellises, shade cloths) can be delivered via customized freight setup; please contact customer service for an exact logistical breakdown.

Alaska Policy: The Alaska Division of Agriculture and the USDA Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (USDA APHIS) regulate the importation of organic materials, soil amendments, and biological products into Alaska. Alaska's geographic isolation and unique ecosystem mean that organic matter from the lower 48 states is subject to inspection and, in some cases, permit requirements.

Carrier availability to remote Alaskan locations is also limited. Not all zip codes in Alaska are serviceable by standard UPS or FedEx ground, and shipments to rural communities or non-road-accessible areas may not be feasible at all.

We require you to contact us before placing any order destined for Alaska. We will manually evaluate your destination zip code for carrier accessibility and determine biological clearance options under active state agricultural framework rules.

Which Products Are Subject to Restrictions

Not all of our product categories face the same regulatory landscape. State agricultural regulations primarily affect organic amendments and biological products. Our garden hardware ships freely to all 48 contiguous states.
