Payment Policy
A complete, transparent overview of how Rdy2Gro Soil Systems handles payments, charges, sales tax, and billing — so you always know exactly what to expect at checkout and after.
Accepted Payments
Payment Methods We Accept
Rdy2Gro Soil Systems accepts twelve secure payment methods at checkout, processed through Shopify Payments and integrated third-party payment gateways. All methods are fully authenticated and encrypted. We do not store any card number, bank details, or digital wallet credentials on our servers.
Note: All digital wallet payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Shop Pay, and PayPal) are processed through Shopify's secure gateway or the respective provider's infrastructure. Card payments (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Diners Club, Elo, JCB, and UnionPay) are processed through Shopify Payments, which is PCI DSS Level 1 certified. We never see, handle, or store your full card number or digital wallet credentials at any point.
Checkout Process
How Payment Works at Checkout
When you place an order on rdy2grosoilsystems.com, your payment goes through a clearly defined sequence of steps designed to protect both you and us. Here is exactly what happens at each stage.
Add to Cart & Checkout
Select your products, review your cart, and proceed to checkout. Your total — including applicable sales tax and shipping charges — is displayed clearly before you enter any payment details.
Secure Payment Entry
Enter your payment details through Shopify's encrypted checkout page. All data is transmitted using 256-bit TLS encryption. Your card number or wallet credentials are never seen by our team.
Authorization & Verification
Your payment is submitted for real-time authorization through the payment processor. If your card or wallet provider requires 3D Secure authentication (e.g. Verified by Visa, Mastercard SecureCode), you will be prompted at this step.
Charge at Order Placement
Your payment is captured in full at the time your order is successfully placed — not when it ships. You will receive an order confirmation email with an itemized receipt immediately after payment is processed.
Fulfillment & Dispatch
Once payment is confirmed, your order enters our fulfillment queue. All orders are processed within 1–3 business days (Monday–Friday). A shipping confirmation email with a tracking number is sent when your order leaves our facility.
Receipt & Records
Your order confirmation email serves as your official receipt. You can also log into your account on rdy2grosoilsystems.com at any time to view your full order history and payment records. For additional copies, contact us at contact@rdy2grosoilsystems.com.
Payment Security
How We Protect Your Payment Information
Every transaction processed through rdy2grosoilsystems.com is protected by industry-leading security standards. We use Shopify's hosted payment infrastructure, which means your financial data never passes through or is stored on our own servers.
All data transmitted between your browser and our checkout is encrypted using Transport Layer Security (TLS), the same standard used by major financial institutions.
Shopify Payments, our primary payment processor, is certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest level of compliance required by the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard.
We do not store, log, or have access to your full card number, CVV, or expiry date. All payment processing is handled entirely by Shopify Payments and the relevant gateway provider.
Supported for Visa (Verified by Visa) and Mastercard (Mastercard SecureCode). When triggered by your card issuer, you will complete additional identity verification before your payment is processed.
Shopify's built-in fraud analysis tools review every order for suspicious signals. Orders flagged for potential fraud may be placed on hold pending verification, and we may contact you to confirm your identity before fulfilling the order.
Our entire website, including every product and checkout page, is served over HTTPS. If you ever see a security warning in your browser, please do not enter payment details and contact us immediately.
Your Responsibility: Always confirm that you are shopping at rdy2grosoilsystems.com and that a padlock icon appears in your browser's address bar before entering any payment details. We will never ask for your card number, CVV, or wallet passwords by email, phone, or live chat.

Sales Tax
U.S. Sales Tax — What You Will Pay & Why
Rdy2Gro Soil Systems is a Florida-based business operated by RDY2G Solutions LLC, registered with the Florida Department of Revenue. Under the South Dakota v. Wayfair, Inc. (2018) U.S. Supreme Court ruling, online sellers may be required to collect and remit sales tax in states where they exceed economic nexus thresholds — regardless of where the business is physically located. Sales tax, where applicable, is calculated automatically at checkout and itemized on your receipt.
| State | State Tax Rate | Local / County Add-on | Status for Online Sales | Notes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Florida (Home State) | 6.00% | 0.00% – 2.50% | Collected | Physical nexus as our registered business state. Discretionary Sales Surtax (DSS) varies by county. Florida enacted economic nexus July 1, 2021. |

| Arizona | 5.60% | 0.00% – 5.60% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 in annual sales. Arizona levies a Transaction Privilege Tax (TPT) on the seller, not a sales tax on the buyer, but it is effectively passed on to the customer. |

| Georgia | 4.00% | 1.00% – 5.00% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. All counties levy at least 1% local tax, making the effective rate 6%–9% in most areas. |
| Hawaii | 4.00% | 0.00% – 0.50% | Collected | Hawaii levies a General Excise Tax (GET), not a traditional sales tax. Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. Orders to Hawaii may also be subject to additional agricultural import documentation requirements. |
| Illinois | 6.25% | 0.00% – 5.25% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. Illinois applies use tax at the destination rate for remote sellers. Some groceries and drugs are taxed at 1% under state law. |
| Michigan | 6.00% | None | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. No local sales tax in Michigan. Uniform 6% statewide rate. |
| Minnesota | 6.875% | 0.00% – 2.00% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. Some agricultural inputs may qualify for a sales tax exemption in Minnesota. Contact us to inquire if this applies to your order. |
| Montana | 0.00% | None | No Tax | Montana has no state or local sales tax. No sales tax is collected for orders shipped to Montana addresses. |
| New Hampshire | 0.00% | None | No Tax | New Hampshire has no state or local sales tax. No sales tax is collected for orders shipped to New Hampshire addresses. |

| North Carolina | 4.75% | 2.00% – 2.75% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. County rate of 2% applies statewide, with some counties adding 0.25% for transit. |
| Ohio | 5.75% | 0.00% – 2.25% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. Some agricultural inputs used in commercial farming operations may qualify for Ohio's agricultural sales tax exemption (Form STEC B or STEC U). |

| Virginia | 4.30% | 1.00% – 1.70% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. Northern Virginia and Hampton Roads add an additional 0.7% regional tax. Total combined rate ranges from 5.3% to 7%. |
| Washington | 6.50% | 0.00% – 4.10% | Collected | Economic nexus: $100,000 or 200 transactions. Washington has some of the highest local rates in the U.S. Destination-based sourcing applies. WSDA also regulates soil amendments sold in-state. |
| All Other U.S. States | Varies | Varies | May Apply | We collect and remit sales tax in all U.S. states where we have established economic nexus under the Wayfair standard ($100,000 or 200 transactions annually in most states). Tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address. |
Agricultural Exemptions: If you are a licensed commercial farmer, agricultural operation, or reseller and believe your purchase qualifies for a state sales tax exemption, please contact us at contact@rdy2grosoilsystems.com before placing your order with your exemption certificate. We will review your documentation and, if valid, adjust your order accordingly. We cannot retroactively remove sales tax from completed, paid orders.
Important: Sales tax rates are set by state and local governments and are subject to change. The rates above reflect our best current understanding and are provided for general reference. The exact tax amount on your order is determined at checkout based on your delivery address and is always the authoritative figure. If you have questions about sales tax on a specific order, email us at contact@rdy2grosoilsystems.com.

Payment Questions
Frequently Asked Payment Questions
Clear, specific answers to the questions our customers ask most often about payments, billing, and security.
Yes. Our checkout is powered by Shopify, which is certified to PCI DSS Level 1 — the highest level of the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard. All data is transmitted over a 256-bit TLS-encrypted connection (you will see a padlock in your browser's address bar). We never see, store, or handle your raw card number. Your payment details go directly to Shopify Payments or the relevant payment gateway (PayPal, Apple Pay, etc.) and never pass through our own servers.
Your card or wallet is charged in full at the time you complete checkout and your order is confirmed. Payment is not deferred until shipment. You will receive an order confirmation email with an itemized receipt immediately after the charge is processed. There are no deferred billing arrangements, partial charges, or subscription-style recurring charges on our store.
The charge will typically appear on your statement as "RDY2G SOLUTIONS LLC" or a similar Shopify Payments billing descriptor. If you see a charge you do not recognize and believe it may relate to an order you placed with us, please contact us at contact@rdy2grosoilsystems.com or call +1 (386) 385-8474 before contacting your bank. We can provide your order confirmation and payment details to help you identify the charge quickly.
Shop Pay installment options (buy now, pay later) are a feature offered by Affirm through Shop Pay and may or may not be available for orders from our store depending on eligibility criteria set by Affirm and Shopify. If the installment option is not presented to you at checkout, it is not available for your specific order at that time. All installment agreements are between you and Affirm — we receive full payment upfront regardless of the installment schedule you choose.
A payment can be declined for reasons other than insufficient funds. Common causes include: (1) the billing address or postal code entered at checkout does not match what your bank has on file, (2) your card issuer has flagged the transaction as unusual and requires you to verify it, (3) your card does not support 3D Secure authentication or that authentication failed, (4) your card has international transaction restrictions that block purchases from Shopify's payment processor network, or (5) your card has a per-transaction spending limit that your order total exceeds. Contact your card issuer for the specific reason or try a different payment method.
Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your delivery address and the applicable state and local tax rates in effect at the time of your order. We collect sales tax in all U.S. states where we have established economic nexus (generally $100,000 in annual sales or 200 transactions in a given state, as set by each state following the South Dakota v. Wayfair ruling). The sales tax amount is shown in your order summary before you confirm payment and is itemized on your receipt. Five U.S. states — Oregon, Montana, New Hampshire, Delaware, and (at the state level) Alaska — have no state sales tax.
Several U.S. states exempt agricultural inputs — including soil amendments and fertilizers — from sales tax when purchased for commercial farming use. Examples include Ohio (Form STEC B/U), Texas (Ag/Timber Exemption Form 01-924), Pennsylvania (REV-1220), and Minnesota. To apply for a sales tax exemption, contact us at contact@rdy2grosoilsystems.com before placing your order. Include your state-issued exemption certificate or agricultural tax number and we will process your order with tax-exempt status if your certificate is valid. We cannot remove tax from orders that have already been completed and charged.
Once we issue a refund on our end, the funds are returned to the original payment method you used. Credit and debit card refunds typically take 5–10 business days to appear on your statement, depending on your card issuer's processing cycle. PayPal refunds usually appear in your PayPal balance within 3–5 business days. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay refunds are returned to the underlying card or bank account and follow the same 5–10 business day window. If 10 business days have passed and your refund has not appeared, please contact us with your order number and we will investigate with the payment processor.
